Design and Operation of Active Magnetic Bearings

This Calnetix Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB) Training Program will cover several topics related to the selection, design, testing, and field operation of AMBs from world experts in the field.  It will include key design considerations for all major components of AMBs (actuators, sensors, touchdown bearings, and magnetic bearing controller), detailed training on rotor dynamics and dynamic tuning of AMBs, and discussion on test that are typically performed to qualify AMBs.  Calnetix will also highlight the design methodologies behind several of its AMB applications.
